Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website operated by the New College Foundation, Inc. ("Foundation," "we," "us," or "our") at newcollegefoundation.org (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of those modifications.
About the Foundation
The New College Foundation is a Florida not-for-profit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN: 59-3841027). The Foundation is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services under charitable solicitation registration number CH-48201. Our principal office is located at 1280 Magnolia Avenue, Suite 340, Sarasota, FL 34243.
Use of the Website
The Site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate scholarship applications, program registrations, and charitable donations. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not: (a) use the Site in any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Site; (c) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or the servers or networks used to make the Site available; or (d) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through the Site's forms or portals.
Scholarship Application Terms
By submitting a scholarship application through the Foundation's portal, you represent and warrant that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You understand that the submission of an application does not guarantee an award, that all scholarship decisions are made at the sole discretion of the independent Scholarship Review Committee, and that the Foundation reserves the right to verify any information you submit.
If you receive a scholarship award, you agree to: (a) maintain the academic standards specified in your award letter, including minimum GPA and enrollment requirements; (b) notify the Foundation promptly of any changes in your enrollment status, financial circumstances, or contact information; (c) provide verification of enrollment and academic standing as requested; and (d) comply with any additional conditions specified in your individual scholarship agreement. Failure to meet these requirements may result in reduction, suspension, or revocation of your award.
Donation Terms
All donations made through the Site are voluntary charitable contributions to the New College Foundation. Donations are processed through secure third-party payment processors and are non-refundable except in cases of documented processing errors, in which case refunds will be issued within 30 days of notification. If you designate your gift for a specific scholarship fund or program, we will make every reasonable effort to honor that designation. In the rare event that a designated fund is discontinued or fully funded, we will contact you to discuss alternative designations or, if you prefer, redirect the gift to the area of greatest need.
Tax receipts for donations of $250 or more are issued electronically within 24 hours of processing. For donations under $250, your bank or credit card statement serves as your record of contribution. The Foundation does not provide goods or services in exchange for donations, and the full amount of your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
